Arun is a qualified Civil Engineer and Project Delivery Professional with over 9 years of experience working on large-scale civil, water, and building projects worth up to €460M. Lately, he has combined his background in contracting and consultancy with anMSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering to focus on greener building solutions.

Currently working as an Energy Consultant and BER Assessor, Arun uses advanced simulation tools like IES VE and Design Builder to handle BER certifications, Part L compliance, and renewable energy upgrades (like heat pumps and solar PV0. Since starting with Cork Energy Consultants in early 2026, Arun has worked on large multi-unit BER certification and is now involved in large post-works BER services for clients installing heat pumps and solar PV.
