About the service
What is it:
IES is specialist building simulation software approved by SEAI for producing non-domestic BER assessments and Part L compliance calculations.
Rather than working from simplified assumptions, IES builds a detailed digital model of your building and runs a full dynamic simulation to calculate energy performance, carbon emissions and regulatory compliance with a high degree of accuracy.
It is particularly suited to large or complex buildings where standard software tools are not sufficient.

How it works:
- We build a detailed 3D model of your building including walls, floors, roofs, windows and zones
- We input construction details including insulation levels, glazing performance, airtightness and thermal bridging
- We add all building services including heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting, hot water and renewables
- IES runs a full dynamic simulation producing energy consumption, CO² emissions, heating and cooling loads, solar gain and overheating analysis
- We produce your BER cert and Part L compliance report from the simulation outputs
