What is it:
A full home retrofit can feel overwhelming, but having the right technical expertise behind you makes the process straightforward.
Cork Energy Consultancy handles all of the energy assessment, design and compliance work involved in a deep retrofit, working alongside your project coordinator to make sure your upgrade is planned correctly, fully grant compliant and signed off on time.
Who Needs it:
This service is for homeowners who are:
- Planning a full home energy upgrade under the SEAI One Stop Shop scheme
- Working with a retrofit project coordinator who needs a BER assessor on the team
- Applying for heat pump grants requiring a technical assessment
- Carrying out deep retrofit works and need pre and post works BER certs
How it works:
- We carry out a pre-works BER assessment and energy audit of your home
- We produce a detailed report used to support your SEAI funding application
- We liaise directly with your project coordinator throughout the process
- We provide design assistance to help plan the most effective upgrade route
- Once works are completed we carry out a post-works survey
- We sign off on all grant paperwork and issue your final BER cert

Home Energy Rating (BER)
A BER cert is essentially an energy label for your home, rating it from A to G so you know exactly how efficient it is and what it's costing you to run.
New Build Energy Compliance (Part L)
